IGNITION ARTS ON CAMERA

Ignition Arts

3171 Kirkbride Way, Indianapolis, IN

There's no denying it was a strange year. Just about everything switched to virtual for everyone, including conferences and symposiums. Tasked with creating a virtual display in lieu of our usual in-person presentations, we decided to liven up our materials with some video footage. Despite it being an insanely busy time of year (when is it not?), everyone pitched in and put together this introduction to Ignition for our CODAsummit conference presentation. Zach Young, our Digital Fabrication & Design Manager (featured here), took some awesome footage of our building using his drone camera, and Brian's son Angus shot the interview footage. It's a little rough around the edges - we're new at this! But we had a lot of fun doing it and look forward to making more in 2021.

DRIFT

Westcreek Drive, Fort Worth, TX

It has been a blast watching the progress being made on Volkan Alkanoglu's pedestrian art bridge, Drift, for the City of Fort Worth. Stay tuned for images of the installation next year!

GRID APARTMENTS FACADE

Jackie Head's dazzling sculptural tile facade is being installed now at Grid Apartments in downtown Indianapolis. If you're local, head to the corner of East St and Washington St to check it out!
